James 5:16 states, "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." There is much power that is made available to us through prayer. A powerful tool to having a mighty prayer life is being part of a united prayer call. This is when a number of people gather to pray over a phone call at a specified time. Having structured prayer time will cause your devotion and prayer life to increase. The Lord says where two or more or gathered in His name, He will be there also. Heaven comes down to earth when multiple people gather before the Lord in prayer. As you pray for others through prayer targets and scriptures, God will minister to you as well. If you are struggling with your emotions and having a healthy heart space, ask Him to minister to you in that area. He will do it. If you are not already a part of a united prayer call, you may check with your local church for details. Or, you can start your own prayer call! Gather a few people, schedule a time, and go before the Lord. He will indeed honor your heart towards Him.
