10 Signs of Burn Out for Christian Moms That Own a Business

If you are a Christian mom who is running your own business, then this blog post is for you! As the owner of a business and a mother, it can be hard to keep up with everything. We often feel like we have no time for ourselves or our family because we are so busy working. If any of these 10 signs resonate with you, then I encourage you to invest in your emotional health by seeking help from a Christian Coach or Counselor.

You will find that investing in yourself will ultimately increase productivity at work and make life more enjoyable outside of work too!

-You feel like you never have enough time to do anything. -The idea of starting a new project or taking on any more work fills you with dread.

-You are constantly worried about what your clients will think of the work that is not as high quality as it should be because you don’t have the time or energy that you use to have to finish projects.

-You find yourself being more "snappy" than usual

-Hitting income goals no longer feels satisfying

-You find yourself avoiding thinking of anything but work.

-You daydream about being in a different profession or life where you can do what you want and don’t have to worry about how many hours your employees are putting in, clients' satisfaction with the final product, etc.

-Your family is feeling neglected because you're just too tired

-Arguments or long periods of silence have increased with your spouse

-You don't feel like your giving/spending enough alone time with God.

-You feel like all of your energy is going toward work. All of these are all tell-tale signs that it's time to take a closer look at your emotional health. A day at the spa or getting your nails done is not enough to address deep-seated issues. It may be a good start but, ultimately your soul needs attention ASAP.

The days go by and you think sometimes, I just need someone else to give me feedback even if it isn't always what want to hear. We might not see things for ourselves because our vision has become blurred from all of the stressors that come with running a business day in and day out.

There are many Christian psychologists, coaches, and counselors who specialize in working with moms. And there's a good chance they have been where you are today so it would be worth investing some time talking to them about how you're feeling - this way you can get back on track before the busy season starts or your burnout gets worse!

I am a Certified Clinical Christian Counselor, biblical therapist and I'm a mom and business owner too! I know exactly what it feels like to be burnout and what it takes to honestly recover. I would love to chat with you and help you start taking care of your emotional and mental health needs today.
